2018 a été une année particulièrement arrosée avec 1600mm de précipitations pour une moyenne annuelle de 600mm. Seul le mois de septembre a été épargné par les pluies, ce qui nous a permis de récolter des raisins parfaitement sains. L'équilibre des vins se caractérise par une grande fraicheur et une belle minéralité en bouche

The certified organic and biodynamic 2018 Châteauneuf du Pape Catarina is 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah, drawn from the lieux-dits of Colombis, Bois de la Ville and Grand Devès. Fermented in tank and matured in older demi-muids, it shows vibrant raspberry and cherry fruit on the nose, underscored by hints of garrigue and crushed stone. Medium to full-bodied, it’s ripe and silky in feel but not overly rich or round, making less of a cocktail wine than some, and easier to pair with food.
